He was in college on a full-ride music scholarship with the dream of becoming a professional saxophone player. He started travelling with Richie making music while he preached during that time God spoke to me about preaching at first i was terrified I wasn’t used to speaking in front of people, and I was very shy, until the time God clearly speak to my heart, and I was able to recognize his voice. He told me I was called to be a preacher. He then confirmed the same message through my mother. This is when I made up my mind to lay everything aside and serve God. Franklin became an evangelist before being installed as the pastor of Free Chapel.
