Sofia Coppola is an American actress, screenwriter, director, and producer. She is the daughter of another filmmaker, Eleanor, and Francis Ford Coppola, and she made her film debut while she was an infant in her father’s acclaimed movies, Godfather, which was released in 1972. She then appeared in the film Peggy Sue Got Married, and she appeared in a supporting role. She also did the role of Mary Corleone in The Godfather Part II which was released in 1990. Her performance was later severely criticized, so she switched to filmmaking.
